Abstract:
As there are many factors involved in achieving optimal growth rate and size at harvest, such as breed, gender nutrition, and feed , this study, A Comparative Study in Raising Broiler Chicken Given the Same Amount of Feeds With Group 1 Feed Twice a Day and Group 2 Feed Thrice A Day was conducted to find out how the number of feeding times with the same amount of feeds affect rate of growth and weight of chicken broiler or fryer.
In this study, two (2) groups of chicken broiler were raised separately for forty-five (45) days given the same amount of feeds but differ in the number of times they were fed. The first group was fed two (2) times a day, the other group was fed three (3) times a day. Based on the data gathered, the findings of the study based on the result concluded that chicken fed three (3) times a day gain more weight than chicken fed two (2) times a day, given the same amount of feeds. With this, the proponent recommends feeding three (3) times for more productive poultry farming.
