Bangus in Corn Oil
L.S.F. Special Bangus in Corn Oil is one of the processed fishery products of LSF. This is prepared from bangus at the average of nine pieces per kilogram. The fish together with other ingredients are packed in 8 oz. glass jars and is good for four servings. Slices of carrot and sweet pickle, pieces of fresh hot pepper, black pepper seeds are added in each pack, all of which enhances the appearance and gives the product its distinct spicy taste.

High quality corn oil is filled in each jar as the packing medium. Filled jars are thermally processed at 10 lbs. pressure for 90 minutes to attain commercial sterility. The high quality of the product is also attributed to the quality of the fish used as raw material.
Bangus produced from the Lupon School of Fisheries brackishwater fishpond is assured to be of best quality, since its growth have been properly monitored. The quality of its flesh is suited for processing as in canning/bottling.
