Abstract
Faculty performance evaluation is a yearly activity of the school and this was being done every first or second week of August up to September of the year to appraise the faculty in its commitment towards students’ welfare.
This year, the researcher aimed to evaluate the faculty performance based on the questionnaire formulated by NBC 461 on the following criteria; a. Commitment; b. Knowledge on the subject matter; c. Teaching for independent learning; d. Management of Learning.
The study is the descriptive type where in it uses questionnaires to gather data on the perception of the respondents how they appraised their teacher/instructor during learning activities.
Based on the data gathered generally, the modal average of the faculty in its commitment; is only satisfactory so with knowledge of the subject matter and the other areas is very satisfactory.
With this, the researcher recommends that since the faculty is already on plateau stage, there must be regular supervision by the Vocational Instruction Supervisor (VIS) to awake them or incentives be given to those who exert effort in all areas or be given a plaque of appreciation to encourage those on the said plateau stage.
