Abstract:
The study dealt on the social pedagogy core aims of Lupon School of Fisheries as predictor of employability skills of students. The principal goal of the study was to determine the significant influence of social pedagogy core aims of Lupon School of Fisheries on employability skills of students utilizing quantitative non-experimental study with 400 students of Lupon School of Fisheries as respondents of the study. Mean, Pearson(r) and Multiple Regression were the statistical tools used for the data treatment. Results showed a high level of social pedagogy core aims of Lupon School of Fisheries in terms of well-being and happiness, holistic learning, relationship, empowerment and positive experiences components. The study also showed a high level of employability skills in terms of applied academic skills, Career planning, developing and presenting information, problem solving, personal management, organizational skills, teamwork, negotiation skills, understanding systems and using employability skills. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between the social pedagogy core aims of Lupon School of Fisheries and employability skills of students.
